DC COMICS SLAMMED FOR DELETING BATMAN POSTER TO APPEASE COMMUNIST CHINA
“Why don’t they focus on making comics and not getting involved in politics?”
DC Comics has come under fire for deleting a poster from social media after a backlash from China over what they believed to be an endorsement of the ongoing pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong.
The comic book publisher removed a post on both their Twitter and Instagram accounts after users on Weibo, China’s state-run social media platform, complained that the image was supportive of the Hong Kong protesters.
The poster, which portrayed a black-clad Batman throwing a petrol bomb in front of the words “the future is young,” was part of a promotional campaign for the upcoming release of the Dark Knight: The Golden Child.
“Why don’t they focus on making comics and not getting involved in politics? Be careful not to burn yourself,” one Weibo user wrote.

Morning Madness
Madness woke me up this morning.

Fearless because I'm yearning.
For the clock's gears are turning.
Closer to eternal sleep.
Closer to those who are grim and reap.
But if one reaps what they sow.
Then I would surely know.
That my current state is what I seek.
Careful of the words you speak.
This world belongs not to the meak.
So all the fighters of evil liars.
They can end up just like me.
We are all clowns.
Welcome to clown world.
These are the memes of your little boys and girls.
And those who have no means.
To do what they mean to.
In this mean world.
But like a pinholes worth of light.
In a vast sea of darkness.
Watch me spark this.
And give heart to the heartless.
So carry on with a clown's smile upon your face.
Because even those who've done you wrong.
Are still part of the human race.
Just an angel in disgrace.
And how they react to you.
Decides if they some day will end up in your place.
With their upside down frowns.
Turned upside down.
So let out a maniacal laugh.
Because this world isn't a tragedy.
No, you see it's quite a gas.

Karma is the 100th problem.
When 99 have come to pass.
And always chuckles last.

TRUMP HOLDS SCREENING OF ‘JOKER’ AT WHITE HOUSE, SAYS HE ENJOYED THE FILM
Prepare for media talking heads to explode
President Trump spent his Saturday hosting a screening of Joker at the White House and reportedly enjoyed the film.
The White House confirmed to CNN that Trump screened the film for family, friends, and some staff.

Joker, which tells the origin story of Batman’s arch nemesis, received widespread acclaim and several awards despite its disturbing undertones and graphic violence, and has grossed over $1 billion at the box office, making it the highest-grossing R-rated movie of all time.
“The senior White House official said Trump liked the film,” Yahoo reported.
Trump, a known cinephile, has made several cameo appearances in films like Home Alone 2: Lost In New York, Two Weeks Notice, and Ghosts Can’t Do It.
He even listed a few of his favorites films in a 2013 tweet, including Citizen Kane, Gone With The Wind, and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

Trump’s praise for Joker is notable given its parallels to the current political climate: in the film, billionaire Thomas Wayne decides to run for mayor but is protested by violent Antifa-like crowds wearing clown masks and holding signs that say “Eat The Rich” and “Resist.”
The mainstream media did their best to hype up the film as a rallying cry for white people to commit violence, but to their disappointment, all the film did was make a lot of money and highlight the clown world in which we live.
Given the mainstream media already billed Joker as “what happens when white supremacy is left unchecked”, Trump’s praise for the film will likely make them double down on that ridiculous assertion.

Editor's Note: I liked the new film, but the modern gangsta Joker Leto played makes sense. Joker is not just a psychopath. He is a crime boss. He has henchmen. I love all the Jokers. I liked Suicide Squad too. There is an extended version with more Leto. I wonder if they can make the new Joker morph into the formidable super super villain he needs to be to be Batman's adversary. Democrat wears 'batgirl' costume to impeachment vote, and social media erupts with ridicule

Democratic Rep. Katie Porter of California wore a batgirl costume to Congress on the occasion of Halloween, but many of her detractors took to social media to ridicule her for the silly stunt.

The National Republican Congressional Committee posted pictures of Porter with the criticism that it showed how Democrats were not taking the impeachment vote seriously.
"As House Democrats prepare to officially blow up their Majority with impeachment, @RepKatiePorter is prancing around dressed as Batman," they tweeted.
"This is how seriously these clowns are taking impeachment," they added.
When confronted with the statement from the NRCC, Porter responded, "Batgirl. It's not Batman. It's Batgirl."
She followed up with her own tweet, tying her costume to her role as a mother.
"Taking my work in Congress seriously doesn't mean I take *myself* too seriously. To my kids Luke, Paul, and Betsy, I'm still just Mom—seeing the Bat Signal on Halloween & putting on a goofy costume come with the territory," she tweeted.
Others derided the costume and Porter.
The impeachment inquiry vote passed 232 to 196, with not one single Republican vote in favor of the resolution.
